Hours
The reservoir area is open from 8 a.m. until sundown, 365 days a year. Visitors planning to arrive after sunset should contact the reservoir office on the day of arrival at 813-672-5320 to obtain the gate combination and instructions. All visitors must be situated before 11 p.m.
Fees
- $5 per vehicle (two to eight people).
- $4 for a single-occupant vehicle.
- $2 for pedestrians, bicyclists, extra passengers, or passengers in a vehicle with a holder of an Annual Individual Entrance Pass.
Camping
For camping at the reservoir, the fee is $22 per night plus tax, along with a nonrefundable $6.70 reservation fee and a $7 nightly utility fee for RVs, cabins, bungalows, boats, and yurts. The utility fee covers water, electricity, and sewer services (not applicable for tent camping).
Equestrian campers can choose from 12 designated sites with tie-outs for horses, conveniently close to the barn and paddocks.
Special discounts are available for Florida residents aged 65 and above, or those holding a Social Security or federal government disability award certificate, who can receive a 50% discount on base campsite fees (reservation and utility fees excluded). Proof of eligibility must be presented at check-in.
