Operating Hours
The Lake Winter Haven Chain of Lakes park is open for visitors from 8 a.m. until sundown every day of the year. If you plan to arrive after sunset, please contact the park at 813-672-5320 on the day of your arrival to obtain the gate code and specific instructions. All campers must be fully set up before 11 p.m.
Admission Fees
- $5 per vehicle carrying two to eight individuals.
- $4 for a single-occupant vehicle.
- $2 for pedestrians, cyclists, extra passengers, and passengers in a vehicle with the holder of an Annual Individual Entrance Pass.
Camping Rates
For overnight camping at Lake Winter Haven Chain of Lakes, the cost is $22 per night, plus applicable taxes. Additionally, there is a nonrefundable $6.70 reservation fee and a $7 nightly utility fee for RVs, cabins, bungalows, boats, and yurts. The utility fee covers water, electricity, and sewer services (not applicable for tent camping).
Equestrian campers can make use of the 12 designated sites equipped with tie-outs for horses, conveniently located near the barn and paddocks.
Florida residents who are 65 years of age or older, or individuals holding a Social Security disability award certificate or a 100% disability award certificate from the federal government, are eligible for a 50% discount on the current base campsite fees. This discount does not apply to the reservation fee or utility fee. Proper documentation must be presented at check-in to avail of this discount.
